British Columbia to Newfoundland, south to South Carolina and Mississippi, west to Utah
deciduous and mixed woodlands; adults are attracted to light
adults fly from May to August
larvae feed on leaves of White Birch (Betula papyrifera) and dogwood (Cornus spp.)
