Cuterebra tenebrosa female?
These all black bots are really tough to ID by photos. The wide eye margin makes this look like a female... but a bit of a guess. If it is female, then this could be C. tenebrosa, C. approximata or C. tenebriformis. The later C. tenebriformis is only known from CA and Nevada so this one is less likely by range, but not by much. C. approximata generally has white spotting near the eye which I don't see in your pics, but sometimes this is hard to see on a greasy specimen. So I would lean toward C. tenebrosa. See Sabrosky, C. W. 1986. North American Species of Cuterebra, the rabbit and rodent bot flies (Diptera: Cuterebridae) for the keys to these species. Even Sabrosky had a hard time with these three species as there appears to be variation in the look of these three critters. So my best guess. A picture of the last couple segments of the rear end might help?

Ok I am uploading some more images. See if these help with the identification. If you need others I would be glad to take them.
Thanks for you help,
