Stinger?
Do these bees sting?
Because I've held them by the hundreds and never felt any sort of needle jabbing into my skin injecting painful venom...
If anyone knows please let me know... :)

Stinger
The females have stingers and can sting, however they are not inclined to do so unless in self defense. Many of these solitary bees have very mild poison; some have stingers too small to perforate your skin.
This image would look a lot better if you cropped out some empty space from the sides to about 560 px. The same thing applies to a few others of your pictures. Remember that only you and the editors can see the full size image; it also helps when browsing through thumbnails.
