Leaf Footed Bug - Leptoglossus occidentalis

Leaf Footed Bug - Leptoglossus occidentalis
N.H., Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA
October 30, 2005
Size: 1 1/4 inch
What kind of leaf footed bug is this ? I found this on my Hydrangea. This Hydrangea seems to attrack all kinds of insects.

Leptoglossus occidentalis.
This is the "western conifer seed bug" that has ignored its common name to become incredibly widespread:-) You find them on ornamental pines where they feed on the developing cones.
