Size: maybe 1.5 mm
Now that it's cold and wet here in Northern California, the springtails are back! Hooray!

Dicyrtominae
A remarkably dark dicyrtomid specimen...
Dicyrtomidae, given the very short 4th antennal segment.
Dicyrtominae, given the small abdomen is not visible in dorsal aspect.
