Harpalini
is the tribe, most-likely genus, Harpalus. Not familiar enough the fauna of NE to risk a species name.

I found some this past Septem
I found some this past September and October at Ft. Tilden and Riis Park - they were confirmed by others more knowledgeable than me. As you know, you can easily see Plumb Beach from Ft. Tilden. But, still a good idea to hold off on moving because this is such a tough group.
