Rindge (1964) reported the forewing length. (2)

♂ 17 - 21 mm.

♀ 18 -24 mm.

Season

Rindge (1964) reported a flight period of May through September. There are two broods peaking in June and September. (2)

Rindge (1964) stated "This species is very similar in maculation to lallata. It can be distinguished from that species by the outward bend of the t. a. line on the anal vein, by the sharp angle in both the median and t. p. lines at the cell, and by the brown scaling in the subterminal area." (2)
