Tiny beetle - Callosobruchus maculatus

Tiny beetle - Callosobruchus maculatus

Size: Approx. 1/2 cm
Can anyone tell me what kind of beetle this is? They were crawling around in the jars of dried crowder peas. Are they considered to be a pest to crops? Any help with ID is appreciated!

I unlinked these 4 photos because they are not of the same individual.

my guess is a Pea or Bean Weevil
I think this is a leaf beetle in the subfamily Bruchinae; and your larva photo is probably an immature stage of this guy. They are known to be pests of stored peas and beans. Hopefully someone else will confirm my ID.
Here are a couple websites that might help:

Thanks
Thanks for your help with ID! I've confirmed that this insect is a bean weevil.
