Black bug - Geocoris atricolor

Black bug - Geocoris atricolor
Alameda County, California, USA
January 4, 2010
Size: ~0.1 in., 2.5 mm
Found on the underside of a piece of tree bark on the ground. Showed a strong preference for the undersurface of the bark whenever I inverted the bark to expose the bug.

Looks sort of broken-backed; is it a mirid, then? (Trying to learn.)
