Not the best picture in the world, but a new one for Bugguide. Note the long palps, and slender, long-legged appearance. You can even see the scutellum is round, not trilobed and evenly setose rather than with tufts. Well, maybe you can't see that, but you can imagine...

I was wondering, is this quadrimaculatus light colored because she is from a colony. Almost all quadrimaculatus I have seen are much much darker than yours.

Could be. A lot of our inbred colony mosquitoes don't really resemble wild ones. They are usually much more drab.
