Moved from Dragonflies. No we just weren't sure how we had sorted these out on BugGuide. We keep them under semicinctum in a western occidentale group. You can click on images to see more, or on data to see where the eastern and western forms are found.

Sympetrum semicinctum
or S. occidentale (and they may be the same species). We'll have to look up where the ranges meet.
