midge - Female
Clark's Creek Park, Pierce County, Washington, USA
January 9, 2010
Quite numerous in the area. The spiders seem to be enjoying them. These are a yellow-green color with irredescent wings.

Moved
Moved from Midges.

Front legs
I can't make out most of the front legs. Are they normally held up, off the ground, with first segment of tarsus longer than tibia? If so, Chironominae.
