Size: 2.5cm
i was unable to match this to either the fall cankerworms or any of the winter moths, (Operophtera)..i have notta clue. it is much larger than the regular winter moths.

Try sliding them out of the plastic container onto a nice background. It is usually not difficult to do, especially if the moth is chilled. (no rsvp, thanks)
