Green Lacewing life cycle - Chrysopa oculata Richmond Hill, York Region, Ontario, Canada
The eggs gradually attained a drab gray color. By the time of hatching, they have developed banded patterns, as seen in the egg to the left. On an adjacent egg, a newly-hatched larva rested shortly before making the trip down the egg stalk.
