Green Lacewing life cycle - Chrysopa oculata Richmond Hill, York Region, Ontario, Canada
Hatchlings are armed to kill the moment they descend the egg stalk. Sternorrhyncha, which I collected from the heavily-infested leaves of an
English Oak (Quercus robur), were perfect starter food. I released most of the hatchlings onto the source tree itself.
