oak-slug moth - Euclea

oak-slug moth - Euclea
Okeechobee County, Florida, USA
May 11, 2009
This color pattern is the only one I've found--in spring and fall--on Euclea at this location. I wonder if this is nanina rather than delphinii.

Moved
Moved from Nanina Oak-Slug Moth.

The green patch only bordering (as opposed to going above) FW vein CuA and the more elongate FW is suggestive of delphinii (matches well with delphinii specimens collected in Pinellas County, FL). Small possibility of being a nanina/delphinii hybrid, so moving to genus page for now.
