Abstract
Data are provided under 34 species in the genus Chrysobothris Eschscholtz; about one-third of these are treated in detail. The following new synonymy is proposed: Chrysobothris beeri Barr = C. caurina Horn; C. blanchardi Horn = C. rotundicollis Gory and Laporte; C. burkei Chamberlin = C.

New taxa and changes in nomenclature are provided in the genera Acmaeodera Eschscholtz,
Chrysobothris Eschscholtz, and Agrilus Curtis. Acmaeodera mariposa Horn
is discussed as a polytypic species, with A. dohrni Horn given subspecific status therein.
