heres one i never figured out -

Size: small
im not sure who these moths are, i remember franticly going from moth to moth back then, and never comming to any sort of conclusion that pleased me.

. Pretty typical Confusing Petrophila with its zigzag median white line on the FWs, speckled postmedian area with a few dark dots around the perimeter, and a thin dark line over the HW eyespots (just barely exposed here). This is the West Coast repreentative of the
fulicalis
-species group.

this is tough without it being spread. It's a Crambidae, possibly Chrysendeton or Petrophila species.
