Globular Springtail? - Bourletiella viridescens

Globular Springtail? - Bourletiella viridescens
Spiderweb, Aiken County, South Carolina, USA
January 20, 2010
Size: ~1 - 2mm?
Rafting on a cricket floating in our pool.
Hard to get a good focus as the cricket kept swimming/drifting around.
Verification and/or further identification would be appreciated.

Bourletiella (near) viridescens
Well done, JC and Ken!
Closely related to the darker B. hortensis.

Moved from ID Request.

Definitely a Globular Springtail
If I had to guess, I'd suggest maybe something in/near Bourletiella.

But it would be just that--a guess--so please wait for the opinion of an expert.
