Bristletail Bristletail

Frontal view?
The only species from the 1980 regional revision this could be is Pedetontus saltator. The other described species from the subfamily are only found on rocky coasts. There could be undescribed species in the area. Do you have a view from more directly ahead to see if the markings on the face match?

No frontal views
This is the best I have for seeing the face.

Moved
Moved from Bristletails.
Matthew, thanks for the info! This one does look like it could be in better shape.

Machilidae: Petrobiinae
This individual has scales on the scape and pedicel of the antennae, but the antennal flagellum is devoid of scales. These characters place it in the Machilidae, subfamily Petrobiinae. This animal has lost most of its scales.
