Nursery Web Spider Eating Fly - Pisaurina mira

Nursery Web Spider Eating Fly - Pisaurina mira

I'm always amazed at the size of spider meals in relation to them. Any ideas what the object is under the spider's leg? Maybe syrphid larva? or some kind of cocoon?

.
nevermind

Spider is a Pisaurina
Not sure if that was in question or not. Eh, probably not. But I'll post anyways. :)

all posts appreciated
Yah, I think it's an immature Pisaurina mira. Seems to be the only one I can find around here.

It looks to me like
a larva of something in Diptera, but others may know better. Maybe it just happened to be on the leaf. The spider has a bigger meal occupying its attention.

accidental inclusion
Agree, I think the other object just happened to be there. Unless it snacks on spider leftovers maybe? You can see webbing on the leaf, so this was apparently spidey's home.
