Hi Jon
Did you delete the originals? I'm wondering where all the comments went?

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Certainly Araneus
and matches pattern of pegnia. But my guide says that females of pegnia can be separated by color pattern and males can't.

We don't know how to interpret
that statement by Levi. He says the males can't be separated, but he says the males of thaddeus and pegnia are colored like the females and the females can be separated. This is certainly colored like a female pegnia, not at all like a female thaddeus. We would ID this as pegnia.

Yes
seems a bit contradictory. I'd agree with pegnia too. I'll go ahead and move it there. This one has a beautiful butterly shaped pattern. Very nice.

And I was afraid its technical quality
wasn't good enough to garner an ID. Goes to show what I know. Thanks, guys!
