Ocala Jumper - Habronattus ocala - male

Ocala Jumper - Habronattus ocala - Male
Highlands County, Florida, USA
July 13, 2009
I'm sure this was an adult male Habronattus ocala. The dorsal markings are unlike those of coecatus, but do match those in the images of male ocala on TOL (Tree of Life Web Project. 1995. Habronattus ocala). This ocala was in scrub habitat, within 15 miles of Archbold Biological Station, where ocala has been collected.
