Maybe a Phigalia? - Phigalia - Male
Charleston, Charleston County, South Carolina, USA
January 26, 2009
Size: Appr 33 mm
Came to a UV light. Actual insect was a bit lighter than the picture shows, but I didn't want to alter it. The best match in my guidebook seems to the Phigalia genus but I couldn't narrow it down to species. It was about 47 degrees F and the cold made it very easy to photograph.
