Epigynum of specimen BG:353933 - Coras montanus - Female
Dixville, Coos County, New Hampshire, USA
Muma, 1946, writes: "Epigynum wider than long by a ratio of 2 to 1. Paired septa arise on posterior margin and extend angularly outward toward the anterior lateral corners for one-third to one-half the length of the epigynum. The septa are widely separated. Anterior lateral tubercles gradually tapered from base to tip and acutely pointed. Epigynum somewhat variable with septa being indistinct in many cases."
