Cercerini Lepeletier 1845

2 genera in the tribe, with ~110 spp. in our area(1) and >900 spp. worldwide (of which 870 Cerceris spp.)(2)
Identification
The two genera can be distinguished by forewing venation. In Eucerceris the outer vein of the third submarginal cell meets the marginal cell near its (the marginal cell's) tip; in Cerceris, it meets the marginal cell closer to its center. (Matthias Buck)
