Melanophthalma pumila - ~95 km NW of Peace River, Alberta, Canada June 23, 2008 Size: 1.7 mm
The swollen prosternum is quite obvious in lateral views- you can see that the area just before the procoxae (where the front legs attach) is enlarged and forms a swollen bump at about the level of the coxae or sometimes beyond.
