Neon Skimmer laying eggs - Libellula croceipennis - Female

Here she has her abdomen plunged into the water, and will scoop and flick water and eggs together in another moment. I didn't get clear pictures of that (couldn't keep the dragonfly, the water drops, and the eggs all in focus)--maybe next year.
