yes. But please define 'XL'...such terms are relative. If around or over 25mm (1 inch) then yes, most-likely H. caliginosus.

25 mm plus
Sorry, I hadn't measured it at the time, but remember it well. I'd say at least an inch long, if not slightly bigger.
