Found nectaring on yarrow in the afternoon.

I suspect
a Bee Fly of some kind, possibly something in/near Villa.



But I am not an expert, so please hold out for a more informed opinion.

EDIT: Wait... was this photo always labeled "Villa"? Dang it, I've gotta read more carefully! Well, at least I came to the right conclusion (however redundant and unnecessary). :)

The genus currently needs revision, so there are no IDs to species at this point. Once, this would have been IDed as Villa lateralis.
