Fly associated with cochineal, mating pair - Leucopis bellula - male - female

Fly associated with cochineal, mating pair - Leucopis bellula - Male Female
Fullerton Arboretum, Fullerton, Orange County, California, USA
February 7, 2010
I think the male is at the left and would appreciate confirmation or correction. This is the only mating pair I've seen and hope it's a harbinger of more activity on the cactus.

Moved
Moved from Leucopis.

Leucopis bellula
Another Leucopis bellula.

Do you know if the one on the left is the male?
I'm basing my guess "Yes" mostly on size.
