Hyalophora euryalus (nr.

Hyalophora euryalus (nr. "kasloensis") - Hyalophora euryalus - Male
Okanogan Valley, Okanogan County, Washington, USA
May 23, 1992
Hyalophora "kasloensis"
(H. euryalus x "kasloensis")

The characteristics of the adult moths from this locality are strongly suggestive of euryalus, however, the larvae and cocoons are suggestive of "kasloensis". Due to characteristics seen in the immature stages (larvae & cocoons) it is likely these are specimens from the western fringe of the "kasloensis" group exhibiting euryalus influence (H. euryalus - blend into - "kasloensis" ??).
