Bright blue damselfly - Enallagma - male

Bright blue damselfly - Enallagma - Male
Hopkinton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
May 23, 2009
Size: 30 mm (approx.)
One of the "mostly blue" bluets?

Note mites under abdomen.

Moved
Moved from Damselflies.

Northern/Boreal
May be possible to distinguish them from this angle although I'm not positive of that. Guess is that it will be Northern but that's truly a guess.
