need specimens!
Chris Dietrich of the Illinois Natural History survey says, "Well, that orange band across the upper part of the face rules out
Illinigina. There's at least one Zyginama species from Mexico with a
similar band on the face. I still can't rule out Dikraneurini based
on the photos. Too bad the hind wing isn't in focus. Again, the
head seems more depressed than is usual for Erythroneurini."
This is probably an undescribed species and may well fool the experts. You need to get ahold of some specimens and mail them to Chris to get a definite answer on this one. Who knows, your name could be immortalized with the bug!

I have this specimen in alcohol and will send it to Chris in the next week or so. I'll see if I can catch a couple more.
I added an image of the wings.
