White Peacock - Anartia jatrophae

White Peacock - Anartia jatrophae
Tampa Bay, Florida, USA
November 10, 2004
These were plentiful around a stormwater retention pond next to the Florida Aquarium.

how pretty!
he/she is gorgeous!! i hope i see one of these someday!

sidenote: did you enjoy the aquarium? i am looking to go to Tampa to visit my boyfriend and i am huge marine bio person as i am with Entomology, and i was wondering what the tampa aqua. is like?

Definitely worth a visit -
if a little pricey. Lots of cool fish, jellyfish etc. They have an exhibit of seadragons that's pretty amazing, if you haven't seen them before. Here's the web site.
