Berosus infuscatus? - Berosus

Berosus infuscatus? - Berosus
GTMNERR, St. Johns County, Florida, USA

Size: 6-7 mm
I think this is a new species for the guide, infuscatus. I used Epler's Identification Manual for the Water Beetles of Florida, and I'm looking at the microreticulation on the elytra and pronotum at the end. I don't have a great photography setup, but I can try to take more photos if someone would like more for verification.

nice! thanks for posting these, Andrew
Berosus are tough, though -- Epler's manual is a very good source, but there's little chance to get a confirmation for the sp. ID via BG: it will require a series of extra sharp images.
it would be wonderful though if you could send specimens to John for verification -- how about that? that way the Guide will get reliably IDed images supported by voucher specimens
