I'm pretty sure this is a Copestylum species... That's as far as I think I should guess on this one! :-)

 
Right on both counts, Harsi.
Copestylum sp. is the ID here. Move your post to Copestylum, and you may get an ID to species in the future. On this particular fly, it's great to have a shot of the face since striped/unstriped has a big bearing on identification.

A clear shot of wing veins is also important, missing here, plus a view of the pattern on the fly's back.
