Long-legged Fly - Condylostylus patibulatus - male

Long-legged Fly - Condylostylus patibulatus - Male
farmland - cornfield/yard border, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
June 15, 2008
Size: about one quarter inch
Side image of what I think is a Long-legged Fly (Condylostylus spp?), showing "folded under" genitalia {terminalia?- not sure of term}

Moved
Moved from Condylostylus.

Possibly Condylostylus patibulatus
If this has marked wings, all black legs, and white hair over most of the face it is Condylostylus patibulatus. Otherwise I'm not sure.

Thanks!
I pulled up my other shots of Long-legged flies to see if I have more of this one that shows the wings. But this is the only image of this fly. Some of my other shots show flies with dark marks on their wings, but they weren't taken at the same time...
Thanks again,
Bernie

Suggestion...
Move your post to Flies (Diptera) for expert attention. (That goes for all flies.)
