My best guess is a Brochymena chelonoides with a possible Tachinid fly egg.

I just couldn't resist "via =v=," not that I made any effort to :)

With the banded legs and antennae, coupled with geographic location, I'd say B. chelonoides is a definite possibility. Donald B. Thomas, via =V= will need to confirm.
