hmm... looks a lot like Ocypus aeneocephalus (DeG.)
that eurotramp staph seems to become increasingly conspicuous in the area, and doesn't look like any of the western Dinothenarus, imho

You're correct V, this is indeed Ocypus aeneocephalus - the hairy pronotum, dark leg color and head shape are all diagnostic. I apologize for the error,
