Latridiid - Metophthalmus americanus
Poison Springs WMA, Ouachita County, Arkansas, USA
April 14, 2003
Size: just over 1mm
Berlese of damp/dry treehole litter collected from treehole near base of beech tree.

Looks a lot like this Metophthalmus americanus posted on TOL site. Don't know if anything would be confused with it.

Elytron with 6 rows of striae, antennae 11-segmented, elongate trochanters (length=2xwidth)...
