white-black-orange leaf beetle - Cryptocephalus insertus

white-black-orange leaf beetle - Cryptocephalus insertus
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
July 7, 2005
Size: 6 mm approx.
Collected a half-dozen or so in sweep net in field near small-plane airport. I've never seen them before. Perhaps a species introduced by hitchhiking on a small plane from elsewhere?

Nice images!

Cryptocephalus calidus or something similar. Markings a little different from the one I photographed.

Excellent!
Thanks so much! It's evident in their markings that I have at least two individuals in my posting and they exhibit quite a markings variation between them. There's a chance then that they are the same species as yours.
