8598 - ♂ Melipotis perpendicularis. At first glance this one resembles M. cellaris with the black triangular marks near the base along the inner margin but closer comparison rules that out. Your other moth looks to be the same.

Thank you so much for the ID. Sorry to put 2 of the same thing on, but they looked different to me at the time. Still learning.

Texas looks like a great place for moths. Will have to come some day.

Don't be sorry as we are all constantly learning and the moths did look different probably due to the focal length of the lens at the time. Texas is great for bugs and birds so come visit anytime! The Rio Grande Valley should be on everyone's list. You are in a great place there in Florida!
