Hyalophora

Hyalophora "kasloensis" - Hyalophora euryalus - Female
Wilderness Lake (n. of Spokane), Spokane County, Washington, USA
Kaslo Female 2006
Wilderness Lake WA

Hyalophora "kasloensis"
(H. euryalus var. "kasloensis")

Characteristics of the adult moths from this area strongly resemble euryalus, however, the larvae and cocoons are much more suggestive of "kasloensis". Due to charactersistics seen in the immature stages (larvae & cocoons) these populations are best recognized as members of the "kasloensis" group.
