Another tiny bracket fungus beetle - Sericoderus lateralis

Size: 1.5 mm approx.
Found while picking apart a tough, thick-lobed little bracket fungus growing on a small stump. It is very similar to another that I photographed and posted earlier that came from a long-dead squirrel carcass:

OK but it looked suspiciously flavi to me.
Moved from Sericoderus.

must be S. lateralis

got a similar species in Detroit in pitfalls in garden areas with logs/wood chips

Corylophidae, Sericoderus sp.
Genus Sericoderus, no one really knows the species at this time.
