Tuberculate Weevil - Sthereus horridus

Tuberculate Weevil - Sthereus horridus
Enumclaw, Forested Unincorporated King County, Washington, USA
February 27, 2010
Size: 5mm
Aww, why the long face, little weevil? Haha. It only appears that it's trying to look all big and buff in this image... in reality, it was just preening itself and rubbing its rear legs together, making it look taller/bigger from the front.

Mandy!!

Thanks, Lynette!
I heard you had a cool find today as well (the Hydnobius)! Awesome!

I guess
It just looked like another little brown beetle to me. Your find is much more horribly exciting. :)

Anything new to the guide is exciting! :)
