I wonder...
I wonder if some of the southern TX specimens that are less orange are O. carnosulus:

Hemelytral membrane with pale apical margin broad laterally and narrow apically (not narrow and equally wide throughout as in lineoloides)
From key in: https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/21934#page/29/mode/1up (couplet 36 separates lineoloides from carnosulus)

Just speculation, as I don't have access to descriptions of O. carnosulus beyond this key.

Also, apex of femora shouldn't be pale in lineoloides, but they are in these southern TX forms. Others here:
