Crab Spider - Bassaniana versicolor - male

Crab Spider - Bassaniana versicolor - Male
Gates, Gates County, North Carolina, USA
March 3, 2010
Size: 6mm
Bassaniana? Found resting on ceiling - not cooperative for "studio" shots. He was attempting to stalk an Indian Meal Moth (Plodia interpunctella) - not successful. Always interesting to see an ambush hunter attempt stalking. Poor guy must have been quite hungry ...

and from North Carolina, with all the mottling, much white on the abdomen, it should be versicolor. See what you think.
