Hydriomena manzanita
Has longer, narrower wings than many of the other Hydriomenas. Timing also fits. It's much earlier than other Hydriomenas except for nubilofasciata (and it isn't that). Quite a few of the manzanitas I get on Vancouver Island also have a reddish tinge:

I think the colouring on Edna's may be partly affected by the light it was shot in - has a blue-ish cast which amplifies the redder areas.
