Ootheca
Either this species can reproduce through parthenogenesis (not uncommon) or the eggs will not hatch because the eggs were not fertilized. As usual, I am interested to see what happens. Sooner or later we'll figure out what species this is for sure, and these images will be very useful for documenting behavior and life history. Make a note of how long the ootheca is carried, and how long it takes to hatch once it is deposited. Keep up the good work!

I think they are Parcoblatta
I think they are Parcoblatta virginica. I am breeding Parcoblatta I caught in the NC right now. I have P. bolliana, P. uhleriana and an unidentified species of Parcoblatta kind of like P. fulvescens. Also I have caught a Parcoblatta similar in size to P. bolliana that I guess are P. virginica.
